From our Founder:

My passion for swimwear started at an early age. Being born in Costa Rica and raised in Southern California, I spent most of my time by the beach. I found myself constantly searching for the perfect bikini and style that made me feel confident. Swimwear is minimal by nature, and there’s no denying that every woman feels vulnerable when wearing a bikini or one-piece. I took up designing and making bikinis for myself as it became increasingly difficult for me to find my ideal style and fit. My dream was to create swimwear that would make a woman feel confident, comfortable and beautiful. 

How we are made:

Founded in 2022, our swimwear aims to bring a vibrant and strong voice to the market. Shayla Swimwear is independently owned and is uniquely cultured to be sustainable. Our eco-friendly recycled fabric comes from Italy and we are manufactured in Bali, Indonesia. Whether relaxed by the pool or diving into the ocean, we aim to provide swimwear that is both durable and comfortable.
